Adult Gerontology Acute Care: Transition to Practice

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide the adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner student with the essential and specialized knowledge and skills needed for independent and interprofessional practice. Students will investigate how their role fits within the complex healthcare environment through collaboration and engagement in activities that support role identity and transition to advanced practice. The course will include an on-site immersion.
