Project Management

Catalog description

This course introduces the student to the use of computer based project management to plan and implement complex projects in a health care organization. Topics include the selection and role of the project manager, organization and planning, budgeting and cost estimation, scheduling and resource allocation, monitoring, controlling, and auditing the project. Students will use MS project (or other project scheduling device) to plan and organize a health care related project.
