Catalog description

The course covers the basic concepts of risk management in health care. Students will analyze employment practices and evaluate risk management strategies, medical malpractice, and the regulatory environment. Students will also explore risk management in multiple areas of infection control programs, psychiatry, telemedicine, ambulatory care, and long-term care facilities.
