Examines the design, evaluation, and implementation of health informatics systems to support evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, and operational improvement. Students analyze data infrastructure, electronic health records (EHRs), clinical decision support (CDS) tools, and informatics governance to enhance safety, care quality, and workflow efficiency. Emphasis is placed on applying informatics strategies to transform healthcare delivery across clinical and organizational settings.
