Advanced Nursing Practice Inquiry

Catalog description

In this course, students appraise advanced nursing knowledge and theoretical frameworks supporting the discipline of nursing to identify how practice inquiry leads to translational research and affects healthcare outcomes. Students use practice inquiry to broadly identify problems within the nursing profession or healthcare settings to develop foundational components of a future project. Students incorporate population health, policy, and evidence-based research to discover methods to apply translational research within healthcare settings.
