Catalog description

This 200-hour clinical experience requires students to complete 240 hours direct hours and 360 indirect hours. Students typically are at their site 20 hours per week, but hours can vary. The Internship involves direct clinical practice, case conceptualization, the development of clinically relevant interventions for groups, and so forth. The site supervisor meets with the student for weekly supervision sessions. Additionally, students participate in group supervision with the faculty of record. Cultural competency development is thematic throughout this experience and is the focus of all clinical work. Course delivery methods for teaching and learning include online, blended, and face to face modalities.
