This 80-direct hour, 120-indirect hour (may or may not meet these hours requirements in Internship A—use as a guide) clinical-based experience is the first course in the Internship A, B, C sequence. Students are required to complete a total of 600 hours by the end of Internship C in this Internship A,B, C sequence. The Internship involves direct clinical practice, case conceptualization, the development of clinically relevant interventions for groups, and so forth. The site supervisor meets with the student for weekly supervision sessions. Additionally, students participate in group supervision with the faculty of record. Cultural competency development is thematic throughout this experience and is the focus of all clinical work. Course delivery methods for teaching and learning include online, blended, and face to face modalities.
