Catalog description

During the course, students learn the skills necessary to perform a comprehensive health assessment utilizing history taking, inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation. Normal assessment findings, common variations from normal, and cultural differences are discussed as a vital component of assessment. Students demonstrate proficiency in a head-to-toe physical assessment practicum.
