Catalog description

Introduces the biostatistics, and covers such topics as descriptive statistics, probability distributions (normal & binomial), sampling distributions, interval estimation, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, one and two-sample t-tests. Focuses on the principles and techniques for designing and interpreting scientific studies, as well as understanding statistical methods to analyze data and draw valid conclusions.
