Infectious Diseases in Movies

Catalog description

This course introduces movies related to infectious diseases and provides opportunities to review and discuss the pathophysiology and pharmacotherapy of infectious diseases. After each movie and classroom discussion, students will recapture the signs and symptoms and disease progression, along with primary and secondary therapy for management. Students will obtain indirect but in-depth experience on the outcomes in the community or to individuals due to infectious diseases.
