Introduces the theoretical and practical application of leadership and managerial concepts. Topics include organizational behavior concepts, theories of motivation, styles of leadership, strategies used to design and manage operations, performance measurement, accounting, finances, and the healthcare supply chain. Students will also be exposed to how to manage topics that include quality assurance, healthcare policies, regulatory compliance, reducing medication errors, technology and automation in the pharmacy, budgeting for success, and inventory management.
