Catalog description

Provides foundational information designed to develop an understanding of pharmaceutical dosage forms. Pharmaceutics II will expand in the knowledge and skills learned in Pharmaceutics I to evaluate biological and physiochemical factors that influence drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion; mathematical and clinical principles of bioavailability and bioequivalence; sterile product compounding and calculations; and novel drug delivery systems. Pharmaceutics II is the second in a series of two related courses.
