Longitudinal Skills Lab I

Catalog description

Provides an opportunity to build and develop essential skills integrating knowledge from didactic courses. This lab includes hands-on practice of non-sterile compounding with an emphasis on extemporaneous preparation of solid, semi-solid, and liquid dosage forms. Pharmaceutical calculations and patient consultation are also practiced during this lab. The lab involves immunization training and vital signs assessment. This lab is the first in a series of six sequential practicums.
