Provides direct patient care clinical experiences specific to the practice of women’s health medicine. The emphasis is on providing prenatal and gynecological care to adolescent, adult, and elderly patients, including the evaluation and management of patients presenting with conditions and illnesses commonly seen in the women’s health care practice setting. Course delivery methods for teaching and learning include hands-on clinical experiences with direct patient care and preceptor/clinician formative feedback and evaluations.
