Illustrates current clinical practice guidelines in preparation for PA professional practice relevant to violence identification and prevention, personal wellness, and recognizing and preventing clinician impairment and burnout, patient advocacy and practice-based improvement. Ethical principles, patient advocacy, billing and coding, risk management, and best practices related to addressing child abuse, intimate partner violence, elder abuse, and human trafficking are also covered Course delivery methods for teaching and learning include certification modules, team-based discussion boards, and presentations.
