Preparation for Capstone I

Catalog description

This course formally commences the culminating capstone project in which students have the opportunity to synthesize advanced occupational therapy knowledge and grow professional skills in one or more of the ACOTE capstone focus areas. Students will be exposed to different methods of conducting a needs assessment with their DCE site as they further conceptualize their project. In developing their capstone project, students will apply their understanding of occupation, theory, professional practice, and professional identity.
