Catalog description

This course offers an intuitive overview of the statistical models and algorithms most relevant to data science applications. Emphasis is placed on understanding key concepts, interpreting results, and developing skills in report writing and presentation. Topics covered include exploratory data analysis (EDA), regression for prediction and classification, performance evaluation, and cross-validation. Students will acquire hands-on experience through projects and assignments.
