Catalog description

This course is a survey of the development of piano literature during the Romantic period in Europe, from the early to late 19th century. Students will be focusing on analysis of piano styles of Mendelssohn, Schubert, Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Brahms, Faure, and Tchaikovsky.
