Catalog description
This course is designed to equip the future music therapist with the necessary skills and knowledge of methods and materials required to successfully facilitate individual, group, and family music therapy sessions with pediatric clientele. The course explores the role of music as an acculturation strategy in culturally informed music therapy. Field observations (practicum) placements in pediatric clinical settings are a part of the course.
