This course focuses on developing students' oral communication skills. Improvisation is at the genesis of all creative work. Throughout the history of music, the definitions of improvisation and how it operates within a musical realm have gone through a variety of changes and upheavals. This course explores creativity and improvisation in the foundational setting of music.
