Catalog description

Designed to provide Health and Physical Education Teacher certification students with the knowledge and skills needed for teaching a quality and comprehensive grade 6-12 physical education curriculum. In this course, students will a) describe essential components of grade 6-12 quality physical education curriculum, b) plan for a secondary physical education unit (curriculum, appropriate instruction, student assessments), and c) demonstrate best pedagogical practices through peer teaching.
