Catalog description
This course is designed to provide the knowledge and strategies of behavior management to promote student prosocial behaviors and academic growth. Techniques for developing and implementing behavior interventions, including collaboration with other educators and families, will be discussed. Furthermore, information will be discussed to prepare candidates to understand how culture impacts teaching and learning. Development of resources and strategies for implementing culturally responsive practices will be explored to meet the unique needs of all K-12 students through various writing and reflection assignments.
