Integrating the Arts and Field Experience in PreK-4 Inclusive Classrooms

This course will assist students in demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to teach all students in Pre-K-4 inclusive classrooms. It offers an introduction to educational theories and inclusive practices that are developed through the knowledge and skills needed to design lessons (academic and non-academic), interpret and accommodate students’ academic, social, and emotional needs, create positive classroom environments through classroom and behavior management strategies, and foster the integration of the Arts and physical movement cross-curricular instruction. Additionally, this course will aid students in reflective ethical practices to assist in the development of personal educational philosophies.
