Catalog description
This course introduces students to the theoretical and philosophical foundations of behavior analysis. The course will address the goals of behavior analysis as a science, core philosophical assumptions, and the radical behaviorist approach to understanding behavior. Students will distinguish among behaviorism, the experimental analysis of behavior, applied behavior analysis, and professional practice. The course also examines the defining dimensions of applied behavior analysis, preparing students to think conceptually and apply foundational principles across diverse practice settings.
