Catalog description

This course is designed to foster professional relationships between future service providers and families that are supporting an individual with autism and make those relationships meaningful, cooperative and productive. An emphasis will be placed on working as a team with families, advocates and school personnel. The roles of family members and the diversity within this group will be examined as well as the legal implications for family involvement.
