Catalog description
This course is designed to prepare students to understand how to prepare effective lesson plans and practice delivering instruction for students with disabilities via different modalities (e.g., face to face, synchronously, and asynchronously). Students will also provide rationales for instructional decisions and reflect on lesson design and instruction. Additional topics taught and applied to lesson planning will include information processing, executive functioning, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
