Catalog description

This course introduces the fundamentals of medical imaging and deep learning. The course covers the physics and reconstruction principles of major imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, nuclear, ultrasound, and optical imaging, and explores how modern deep learning methods enhance image quality and analysis. Lectures are complemented by hands-on programming sessions using Python and TensorFlow, emphasizing neural networks, tomographic reconstruction, and multimodal imaging applications.
