Urban Watershed Science Lab

Catalog description

Laboratory studies to include social-ecological-technological systems (SETS), ecological assessment, restoration, and environmental policy. Students will learn about careers in stream and watershed management and restoration by interacting with professionals in ecology, sustainability, and related fields. A major part of this course is group work in collaboration with a community partner to prepare a report and presentation that meets a need or goal specified by that partner organization.
