Health Issues of Women.

Catalog description

This elective course will explore the needs and concerns of women in today’s changing world and the present healthcare system. It is designed to provide students with an expanded awareness and understanding of the current health issues affecting women. The course will take a holistic, integrative approach to health and encompass various topics within the six dimensions of health. In addition, students will have the opportunity to become better informed healthcare consumers while identifying health resources available for women.
