Instruction on safety practices and terminology in the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) process in accordance with American Welding Society (AWS) Structural welding codes. Emphasis is placed on safety, welding terminology, equipment identification, and operation. Provides the skills and knowledge necessary for the safe operation of oxyfuel cutting.
