Catalog description

Students will complete a supervised counseling practicum experience in an approved clinical mental health setting that totals a minimum of 100 clock hours over two consecutive terms, with at least 40 clock hours of direct client service, with one hour individual or triadic supervision by a qualified supervisor and an average of 1.5 hours per week group supervision. There is a synchronous requirement for this course. Professional liability insurance is required prior to starting the practicum hours.
