This course considers the concept of sustainability in a global context. In an interconnected and globalized world, what does sustainability mean? How can it help us understand the critical challenges facing the world in the 21st century? The course explores issues like poverty and inequality, climate change and pollution, natural resources, and technological advancement, while introducing students to important concepts around sustainability, globalization, and international relations. Prerequisites: Completion of an English sequence (2 credit) summer
