Catalog description

This is a calculus-based course examining the physics of electricity and magnetism. This is the honors version of PHYS1750 and satisfies the same requirements as PHYS1750 . Topics include electric and magnetic fields, electromagnetic properties of materials, DC circuitry, the electromagnetic nature of light, and optics. Students engage with these topics through a mixture of lectures, guided in-class activities, and laboratory exercises.
