The course examines how project managers ethically communicate and manage project teams that are distributed in a single facility, across the globe, or virtually. Course topics include environmental factors; cross-cultural considerations; methods to support geographically dispersed; distributed, or remote teams; traditional vs. virtual project management; navigating obstacles, building trust and related issues; and best practices for organizing and managing virtual and cross-border project teams.
