Catalog description

This course offers an exploration of contemporary issues in sustainability and the environment, with each semester focusing on a different theme. Past themes include Urban Ecology, Food and Food Scarcity, and Cultures of Sustainability. The course features weekly lectures by local, regional, and national experts, as well as a major service learning assignment with an emphasis on social justice.
