Catalog description

The definition of an analog feedback control system is the introduction of the course. The course proceeds with the time-domain and frequency-domain analysis of closed loop feedback control systems. The relationship between the time-domain and frequency-domain is discussed. The stability methods are explained. The course provides an introduction to the state-space method and an introduction to discrete control systems. Prerequisites: MATH2500 or MATH2600 and ELEC3250 (4 credits) spring, summer
