This course explores electromagnetics, spanning from foundational principles of electrostatics and magnetostatics to more advanced topics like transmission line theory, antenna basics, and electromagnetic wave propagation. This course covers Maxwell's equations, radiation properties of antennas, and propagation of electromagnetic waves through different media, including free space, waveguides, and transmission lines. This course is a blend of theoretical concepts and practical applications to guide students toward an understanding of electromagnetic theory, basics of antennas, and its relevance in modern technology and engineering. Prerequisite: MATH2025 , ELEC2300 or ELEC2750 (4 credit) summer
