Catalog description

This course gives students an introduction to DC and AC circuit theorems, magnetic and transformer concepts, AC power, three phase balanced circuits, and Laplace Transform analysis. Transient analysis and initial conditions are studied for R-L, R-C, and R-L-C circuits. Laboratory experiments parallel classroom theory and include circuit simulation. Corequisite: MATH2500 or MATH2600 (4 credits) fall
