Catalog description

This course serves as a culminating experience for the MS in Data Science, Computer Science, and Cybersecurity programs. Students design, implement, and present a data-driven solution to a complex, real-world problem. Emphasis is placed on project planning, data acquisition, cleaning, analysis, modeling, and visualization. Students integrate concepts from machine learning, statistical analysis, and programming while demonstrating critical thinking and effective communication skills. The course concludes with a professional presentation and a comprehensive report showcasing their methodology, results, and insights. Prerequisites: COMP6999 (4 credit) fall, spring
