Catalog description

This course reviews the secure software development process and provides practice using that process to solve software-security problems. The first half of the course studies software vulnerabilities, attacks that exploit them, and defenses against such attacks. In the second half of the course, students research a novel software security problem and apply the competencies from the classroom to find a solution. Prerequisites: COMP5900 (3 credits)
