Catalog description

This course introduces a practical approach to detecting, analyzing, reverse engineering, and eradicating malicious software (or malware). It uses a standard methodology, which includes setting up a laboratory and utilizing a selected set of forensic tools to dissect malware, discover its characteristics, and neutralize its effects. Prerequisites: COMP1200 (4 credit) summer
