Catalog description

This course is an overview of sustainability engineering as it relates to infrastructure. Sustainable design principles will be assessed as they relate to urban planning, energy demand, water resources, transportation, building materials, and waste management. The course will include the review of the impact of infrastructure development on environmental management including water, storm water, energy, air quality, sprawl, and waste production, treatment, and storage.
