LEGAL ASPECTS OF BOUNDARY SURVEYING

Catalog description

This course is an introduction to real estate law and boundary determination principles that are essential to the practices of land surveying. Real estate law, conveyancing terminology, evidence gathering, and research theory will be taught. Key principles of boundary law will be explored such as the relative weight of evidence, sequential and simultaneous conveyances, easements and rights of way, and the public land survey system.
