The course serves as an introduction to the means used to produce architecture. It introduces fundamental representation skills and analytical techniques that designers use to understand the built environment and to communicate design intentions. Student engage in sketching from observation, drawing (analog and digital), digital image making, and modeling techniques as tools for documentation, analysis, representation, and visual communication.
