Catalog description

This course develops practical and career-relevant communication, problem solving, and organizational skills, as well as professional and cognitive skills associated with analytical reading and effective writing and speaking in the discipline of philosophy and practice of engaging publics. Students in this Public Engagement and Philosophy course make interdisciplinary connections and articulate how their academic study relates to career goals. Students also plan and manage the Undergraduate Philosophy Conference. May be repeated for credit.
