Catalog description
This course is the second in a two-semester sequence and is intended to provide a practical orientation to piano for music majors. Students will refine their piano technique and develop more advanced skills in scales, harmonic progressions, repertoire, sight reading, improvisation, and ensemble playing. The goal of this course is to establish skills needed for required piano proficiency. Prerequisite: MUSC 1080 or permission of the Director of Keyboard Studies.
