Catalog description

The course explores the concept, importance, and implications of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) by introducing students to theoretical and practical ideas about DEI as they relate to organizations. This course is designed to survey DEI issues in different types of organizations and institutions, paying particular attention to legislative issues: organizational processes such as recruitment, training development, retention, and evaluation; and diversity trends from census and scientific data.
