Catalog description

This course is a seminar for first term international graduate students. It is designed to help students become more familiar with the skills they will need to be successful at Webster University (US campuses). Topics covered include academic and cultural norms in U.S.. classrooms, techniques for completing typical graduate level academic assignments, research and citation skills, writing skills such as a summarizing and paraphrasing, and cross cultural communication. Enrollment is restricted to graduate students.
