Catalog description
This course prepares students to translate their academic and creative writing skills into writing for magazines and other paying outlets. The course also teaches students the basic skills needed to seek out publication opportunities for their writing, both creative and journalistic, manage their time, and participate in the literary community. Prerequisite : Successful completion of a beginning writing course (such as WRIT 1010 or MDST 1050) or instructor approval.
