Catalog description

Students will be introduced to emerging technologies around the globe which include AI/ML, Zero Trust Architecture, Quantum Computing, Web 3.0, Metaverse, Edge Computing, and autonomous systems. The evolution of these technologies will be explored in-depth (the current state and the future state) – and the impact on the society. The critical risk/threat facing each of the technology will be identified, assessed, and mitigation strategies explored as organizations/governments embraces the early or critical mass adoption. Key considerations will be given to the security of data/information asset of the emerging technologies. Prerequisite : CSSS 5000.
